Currently seeking a Leisure Attendant / Ferry Master for lake-side lodge resort Tasmania. Located in the heart of Tasmania’s World Heritage region, this is a unique opportunity for a hospitality orientated ferry master with a keen interest in wild-life and natural environments.
The role will include the operation and maintenance of the properties ferries for transfer service and scenic tours within the heritage area, focusing on providing the highest level of guest experience and customer service. The role will also involve general maintenance and handyman duties around the resort as may be required.

Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in a similar role within a remote natural environment
- Master 5 ticket preferred (Coxswain minimum)
- Well versed in all aspects of shipboard safety (including First Aid and Resuscitation) and have a detailed knowledge of Australian Marine legislation and best practice
- Fluent English (additional languages an advantage)
- Ability to work within a multi-cultural environment
- Team player, multi-tasker
- Excellent guest relations skills
