Maitre d’Hôtel required for exclusive small luxury cruise ship

At Your Service: A Hands-On Guide to the Professional Dining Room
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will responsible for the overall supervision of the ship’s service and beverage operations, including room service, bars, public rooms and deck service supervision.

Job Requirements:

UK/European hotel school diploma or equivalent
At least 3 years experience in food & beverage supervisory role within luxury cruise ship environment
Strong leadership (leading by example) and motivational skills
Strong ability for building interpersonal relationships with the guest (socialising skills)
Excellent communication skills
Sound knowledge in food & hygiene standards, Public Health and USPH
Previous exposure to basic budgeting techniques and financial analysis
Fluency in spoken & written English + French and German
